Angelus Egelberg, 1937 TB ML S7L, From Schreiner's Iris Lover's catalog for 1947: "One of the very finest orchid pink iris. The broad blooms, heavily textured, are ideally spaced on a well branched stalk. A near self with a shimmering mauve iridescence on the falls. The color is exquisite and it is an outstanding iris. An ideal iris for both the show table and the garden being particularly valuable becaue it is one of the latest iris to bloom prolonging the season in the garden." (Elizabeth Egelberg X Député Nomblot) HM 1938, AM 1939. |
