Caprice Vilmorin, 1898 An old french variety in a deep rosy-purple. Classed as an IB at 23" high, it is very sweet in a clump. Sweet grape fragrance too. Comments: "This photo was taken at Nicholson's Woodland iris garden in California. It is small but intense. Has alot more red in it than I thought it should have." - Laetitia, NJ
