TB 38" M R4M

From Cooley's Gardens catalog for 1944: "Large flower of deep, glistening, rich brown. Same solid rich color on standards and falls. Styles yellowish; beard brownish-orange. Closest color plates in Ridgeway are Burnt Sienna and Chestnut. Not just a novelty, but a flower that adds an entirely new, rich note to the garden picture."

From Schreiner's Iris Lover's catalog 1947: "Glowing deep rich coppery brown. A large, long formed flower of 'pungent' color that attracts everyone. One of the richest iris in the sienna brown shades with a pleasing iridescence. A solid self."
