Morocco Rose
Loomis, 1937

TB M R9L

From Cooley's Gardens catalog for 1938: "Very large rose-pink self, soft yellow glow at the heart. A seedling produced by Dr. Loomis of Colorado Springs and placed on the market by Quality Gardens of Freeport, Illinois, where it was a great favorite of many of the iris judges converging there for the annual iris show. Our stock is limited."

From Cooley's Gardens catalog for 1942: "Very large rose-pink self, soft yellow glow at the heart, and brownish cast about the haft. We believe it to be the nearest to genuine pink of any iris in this catalog. Unlike most iris this color, Morocco Rose is a really big flower."
