Commercial Sources
for
Historic Irises
working the iris fields
Working the iris fields, Cooley's Gardens 1940's
The Commercial Source Listing appears in each issue of ROOTS and on the HIPS website. This list is updated annually. The information included in this list is provided by the sources themselves. If you require more details about any of these suppliers, please contact them directly. While HIPS will not offer listing privileges to any nursery known to give poor service, we cannot warranty your satisfaction in any individual transaction.

Since the Commercial Source Chairman is the initial step in the three part HIPS process for finding and obtaining historic irises, all inquiries about sources of specific irises should first be directed to this office. Using available resources, referrals will be provided whenever possible. HIPS members whom we have been unable to help will be referred to the HIPS DataBank Chairman, and, as a last resort, their request will be sent to the Locator.

Anyone desiring commercial sources of irises for the current year should contact the Source Chairman by July 1, as many growers have a limited supply of rhizomes and some do not fill orders late in the season. We gladly accept e-mail inquiries at: iriscomsource@yahoo.com. Call Jeff at: (864) 594-6736, or if writing, please include a stamped self-addressed envelope and address your request to:
